Ozbolt is the moniker of Germany-based artist Andy Ozbolt, who also records as Andy Aquarius. Recording under this name since 2021, Ozbolt is dedicated to capturing the essence of specific places in time and space. The moniker is a tribute to Andy’s Croatian heritage, as it was his mother’s maiden name.

Andy began playing piano at the age of six and released his first record in his early teens. As Ozbolt, he has released music on labels such as Woodford Halse, Fort Evil Fruit, and Shimmering Moods. He also records under the name Andy Aquarius, with releases on Hush Hush Records, Constellation Tatsu, 7k!, and Breath Sun Bone Blood. In addition, he has explored other musical styles under King Vatra (Dungeon Synth) and was a founding member of Swan Valley Heights until 2023.

Each Ozbolt release begins with a unique approach, focusing on location-based inspiration, in contrast to Andy Aquarius, which explores internal worlds and emotions. While Ozbolt does not perform live, the project continues to evolve through its recordings.
