We are thrilled to announce the release of 'Linger,' the latest album by Giannis Gogos, a self-taught musician and composer from Alexandroupolis in Greece. Giannis first ventured into music in 2005 but took a long hiatus to focus on his work in photography. However, the tumultuous events of 2020 saw him reacquaint himself with making music.

Drawing influence from the Ambient and Experimental music scene, Giannis blends analog and digital elements to create intricate soundscapes. His music features an array of organic instruments like the kalimba, glockenspiel, and a vintage Yamaha VSS30, all enhanced with various delay and reverb effects.

'Linger' is a collection of seven delicate tracks, each crafted with cassette recordings and degraded tape loops to evoke a dream-like, nostalgic atmosphere. Giannis describes his music as an escape from daily routines, inviting listeners to lose themselves in tranquil moments and find inner peace.

Giannis shares, “The rustle of leaves, the water flow, a flickering light through the curtain, a warm sunset... these moments invite us to a quiet frequency, away from our daily routine. Through 'Linger,' I hope to offer a shared space for contemplation and connection.”
